Hi Everyone! Can anyone help? I have a warning 'close boot separator' but this is closed!

All of a sudden there seen to be a few things going wrong with my beloved 2016 SL.
As well as the roof not opening, also strangely the central locking has stopped working on the key fob- might these things be linked to the ancillary battery?
any help much appreciated as i need to take the roof down for summer!

Any water ingress? And how good is the battery?

Might be simple solutions.....

Sometimes it has not latched properly and needs a bit of a tug - even the slightest obstruction will stop it closing properly.

Key fob battery may need replacing......

I had this exact same issue, except my roof is stuck open. Changing the battery made no difference. Found that it was the PSE pump. A bit of the circuit board has burnt out. I hope this hasn't happened to your car and its something simple.

Micro switch, if yr lucky. Pse pump dramas if yr not. As posted, any sign of water in around pump base? If not look micro switch that closes when separator correctly in its fittings, fact that CL playing up indicates leak of drama with pse system, not as far as I know linked to boot separator?
