Hi All, Just want to introduce myself, I'm in Milton Keynes, I have a SL320 - 1999 R129 model, I've had this car for 12 years and its my third R129. I love the car and only drive it during the summer. I have a gearbox issue with what I think is the "Speed Sensor / Conductor Plate" so now hoping to get some advice from the technical department.

Before throwing money at it get the codes read using MB STAR diagnostics.

Hi Rifiki,

Thank you for the welcome, I have as thread running in the gearbox tech section so best answering questions there but I have changed the oil, made no difference
