Hi first Benz ever so bit wet behind the ears

just picking My new car up next week and want to gather up some parts up for it , It's nothing fancy or new , a 11 plate
c class 250 amg sport ( facelift ) i have been told i need a Becker nav unit that sits in the glove box , 1) I don't understand how it works and

2) I need the correct part number to buy the right one , it seams like there are a few on eBay so I didn't want to get the wrong one , plus do I need a cable ?
the merc specialist wants £299 for a brand new one .

We just bought a Becker sat nav unit which slides into the module holder in the glove box, if the holder is already installed then it is basically just lug and play. Just make sure the one use buy is unlocked and has been preloaded with maps, otherwise you'll have the extra expense of purchasing the cards to download the maps
If you type in 'Mercedes Benz Becker Map Pilot Sat Nav Navigation With European Maps' it should bring up what you need on the bay.

The parts guy at your merc dealership will probably tell you the part number you need, they are usually very helpful. If you turn up in person, he/she will probably give you a printout with it on.
