Hi all, have owned '66 230SL for 18 years now and recently purchased W126 500sec 1983 NZnew with 186 kms which is a bit of a resto project but almost rust free. My latest find is a '89 560sec with 81kms. It has the high comp engine but has no spark so been checking the forums for info. Have now sent the 8 pin EZL to Germany for repair but would really appreciate it if anyone has some wiring diagrams for this ignition circuit. Cheers Jeff

I was born and used to live in Auckland and had grand parents living in Dargaville. They had a beach house at Glinks Gully. My Dad was born in Te Kopuru and died in Orewa.
When our family arrived in NZ they emigrated in to Whangarei before crossing the Dargaville.

We used to go to Whangarei falls a lot as a kid!

Almost a Northlander then!

We have family further south in Opotiki, just below Whatakane.
Great country - Small world.

I grew up in Auckland then moved north 15 years ago but only to Whangarei a year ago. Great to hear of so many connections to NZ with members in the Uk.

The start of one of the best drives in the world - The route around East Cape!

One of any number or great road trips around this beautiful country. The MB club in Auckland organized a 2 day road trip from Auckland to the coromandel a couple of years ago, taking in the scenic route, to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the launch of the 113 series. So, about 20 Pagodas driving around together was great fun.
