Hi im new to Mercedes just bought a E350 sport estate W212

[Cap-580]

got problem with the right rear shock absorber its leaking are there any after market oem parts available as the one from Mercedes are extremely expensiv. any advise would be appreciated.

Great cars the S212 with the 3.0 V6, love mine to bits.
Rear airbags are available from areosus or arnott, you can also get a set from Mercedes as a recon part which is also a good option, are you sure it’s the bag that’s leaking and not just a connection, how quickly do they drop?

Different set up on the estates, all e-classes from the 124 (I think) have had self levelling rear suspension so controlled by airbags rather than traditional springs,

I had my Indie fit Aerosus units to my W212 earlier this year. I purchased the units direct from Aerosus for approx £380 for the pair IIRC. They are a German based company and the units arrived within 48 hours. Fitting was about £300. The Indie commented on how good the units were and would have no problem in recommending them in to others. The car has been fine since. Note that they should be changed as a pair.
