SL350/2006/ 3.7lt
Hi am new to the mercedes world, just sold my BMW Z4 coupe to buy the sl350, it's a 2006 3.7lt with 40k on the clock, I am blown away how nice it is to drive, truly fallen in love with it.
I plan to clean up a few areas (refurb wheels) I have already debadged the rear for a cleaner sleeker look. Plan to replace the grill with a more modern looking one, but other than I just want to keep her clean...well I kind of want 19s instead of 18s..but love the AMG wheels that are fitted...

Some members on here have already helped me with problem solving the little oil leak which I now know is coming from the breather tanks, going to tackle that in a few weeks
Got a small leak in the boot after heavy rain I need to sort also...

Pics below of my old coupe and my new sl

Very true they are completely differently machines, but the SL is on a totally different level of class/build quality. Driving the coupe it was only a matter of time before I was going to get banned from driving ‍♂️, but with the SL the car is so enjoyable at low speeds just cruising, can't wait for the European road trips next year in her.

Hi and welcome over from the dark side. We all see the light eventually! Mercedes can be addictive though.

Hi and welcome.
There's a very good leak guide for fixing boot leaks on the forum. It was written by Television aka Malcolm (RIP) and us the definitive guide to fixing boot leaks.
I have Malcolm's old SL and it's dry as a bone.

Welcome Y6tuk, They're great cars to drive, aren't they? You have all the power you need but seldom feel the need because the ride is so comfortable.
