hi new owner of a CLA 250E Shooting Brake need help

i have just received my CLA 250E shooting brake after nearly 2 years of waiting and some features missing ( which i knew about).

But have had issue with blue tooth and need new aerials already after visiting the local dealer, not a good start.

But my question is when battery is at 0% and travel long distances i only seem to get 5% braking regeneration over long distances that is 1 mile of range (pointless).

Had IT back into the garage and say they do not know if this is right or wrong and been on to Mercedes technical department and they are getting back to me to see if that is the maximum i can get, tried in all modes, comfort, sport, Eco and Battery level and still the same. shows on MBUX energy flow is charging but 1 mile come on whats the point.

Is this correct and does anyone get more charge under braking in these modes.. thanks for your help in advance.

Hello and welcome,

With the current weather conditions getting any range into a EV or Hybrid battery is struggle. I expect they'll have a software update which will change the parameters as it's all very new still...

thank you Blobcat .so would you suggest me asking them for an update as even one of the the Mercedes engineers says he has the same car drives to the lakes and get the same 1 mile.... he should know right !! but didnt check anything but also they didnt know just seems strange to have all the features and showing charging under braking but no actual charge held even in battery save mode.

I'd take it back and tell them its not fit for purpose... (although it is good for low BIK, which I'm guessing is why you have it) - I expect MB are getting feedback and their engineers will be working on the software
