Welcome, have you checked the oil level?? i know its a daft thing to ask but.........

Could be that its slightly over and as it heats up its puting the light on, i would take half of ltr and try that!!

Don't want to alarm you, but on a previous thread on an A class, someone drove with the same "Hi Oil" message and required a new engine as a result.
I would drain some pronto.

Unfortunately the A class engines seem to be as sensitive to over fill as under fill so I'd also be tempted to either drain some or all of it off then refill to the correct level. If the last oil service wasn't that long ago then you could get away with just draining some or all of it off and then putting the correct amount of new oil in with the old filter, but if its coming up for a service anyway then just get that done. Since its only coming on above 70 it doesn't sound like it's much over so hopefully should be fairly easy to sort :) Do sort it though - its not worth taking the risk considering the potential problems it might cause if left.

Cheers,
Mark

Most places now have a oil removal pump, probably suck half a liter out for you if you slip them a drink, takes mins!
