Not trying to be funny but if your battery is totally dead then how do you intend starting the car to drive it ? If you can drive it then the battery is going to get charged while it is being driven ... regardless of anything else, if your battery is 100% totally dead then I'd suggest just buyoing a new battery and be done with it.
