First of all, hi everyone! :D
ive recently bought a 1989 charcoal grey 230 coupe and its in need of abit of work, but as im capable of doing this myself, so as labour isent a problem i have some money left over so would like to modify it.

ive searched quite abit but havent come across any form of modification that you can actually do to these. yes i am new to this (not cars as i have a 1967 mini and a VW) so any obvious answers i have no idea about.

so my question for you is: what can i do to the car in the form of OEM upgrades or modifications or cheap aftermarket parts? ;):p

Hello and welcome to the forum :)

I favour the OEM look, I have been through my modifying phase, and have come back to wanting everything as the factory intended it.

IF you are going to modify or upgrade, then quality not quantity is important, sportline suspension upgrades, amg wheels/exhausts etc...

Good luck with it, enjoy restoring the car, don't get like me, I enjoy working on my SL more than I do driving it, something wrong there I think ;)
