I would like to upgrade the stereo radio casette. Presently have a blaupunkt verona cr43 which i suspect is the original offering. Its adequate but only just.
I would like a cd and to improve the quality of the radio but want something that would have been available around the time of manufacture (1990).
Lots of potential options on Ebay but i wonder what i should look for to ensure they are compatable. Is it a DIY job to changeover? Does a cd have to be boot mounted? Many coupes seem to have a multichanger bolted to the underside of the rear shelf accessed from the boot.

I'm yet to collect my coupe, but when viewing it I noticed it had a Blaupunkt Changer unit loose in the LH boot well.... Not good. I'd be interested in finding out its OEM location so it can be mounted correctly. Sorry to jump in your thread..... I can try to find out what model it is, as my car is a '94, and will prolly have a later unit with a bit more performance. I bet you can find them cheap on FleaBay......
