High beam assist

I had an issue with the high beam assist not being available after around 10 mins of driving with a message saying camera obscured then working again about 5 mins later. Took it to my local dealer under warranty and they said there have been issues with the camera not being sealed properly and allowing condensation to form on the lens. They resealed and calibrated the camera and updated the software. Will now see if it has cured the problem. 2019 C200 Premium plus.

AC on or not it made no difference the issue I was having.

I always run with AC on.

Service dept said they've seen a few with this issue.

on some the camera gets its own heater element on the screen, (to stop the issues you got) I wonder if they really forgot to turn that bit on in software at build.

your reported fix seems to wild for me to believe - that's the kind of way they fixed things 30 years ago - before anyone had documented how to remember what to do when making a car.
