High demand of the new Maybach in the UK?

Is it true that the demand of the new Maybach in the UK is so high that some dealers are charging a $100,000 premium to customers who want the car now? Is it as hot as the SL55 AMG? Any comments?

Don't know about the Maybach but the SL has a long waiting list. SL55 is two years wait but SL500 is five years.

If you look in the Sunday Times motoring section, you'll find plenty of SL's for sale. I think that many people who bought them for speculative reasons are now trying to off-load them, in view of today's economy.

R230's are going for list. There is no premium on them that ive seen.
