High pitched sound after you have parked the car and locked it. It goes on for quite a while, whether the doors are open or closed, locked or unlocked. Not sure where it is coming from. Any ideas?

My om642 does this in my Jeep , believe it’s fuel pressure bleeding down in fuel system after engine turned off , it’s always done it and is normal

Its the throttle bodie(s) vibrating until the engine ECU goes to sleep.

I always thought this was fuel getting past something / solenoid etc and relieving line pressure as the noise slowly winds down until it’s stopped in that it does not stop abruptly it just gets quieter until it’s no more

My 2021 GLC makes all sorts of noises when I park up nothing as noisy as yours seems but then again I really only notice my car singing when in the garage as it’s a closed off area.

It has never worried me to be honest I guess ignorance is bliss.
