Historic Fault codes / vehicle history

Am looking to obtain historic fault codes and when they occurred. Is this possible? Got a 2018 v-class. Anyone know what system stores this and who can provide the info? Wanting to know when a fault first occurred…

Find a Mercedes specialist (not main dealer) with STAR diagnostics.
That piece of equipment can show all historic and current fault codes that have not been cleared.
Once cleared I'm unsure if they can be retrieved again.

If you state your location, possibly someone can recommend a specialist.

Thanks. Do I need to take the car to the garage or can they retrieve it with other details? Like VIN or reg? Based in Essex , UK

Later star diagnostics store the test and you can retrieve the star test. I don’t think this can done on early star test.

Think my 2014 stores saved reports. I have many!! But don't think it keeps all that are generated by itself.
