Having recently had an update on my c class smpc760 and replacement of nox sensors .
I picked up a nice clean car obviously been washed .
On the seat was a history book with a vehicle heath check saying pads and discs need replacement.
Considering this was done 2 weeks ago absolutely impossible.
When questioned my response was it’s last service printout and not been updated .
I’ll get my coat .
Question is having no receipt for work done today his can I check the work said as been done .

I’m talking about the nox sensors .
Would have thought that’s there job to look at discs and pads before telling me there worn .didnt go in for discs and pads

Is this a MB garage you attended, the previous work should have been updated? I have never had that problem with a MB dealer.
I think you need to look for another garage, I wouldn't go back.

I think you need to look for another garage, I wouldn't go back.
The previous work was done by myself I fitted new brakes discs and pads .
My car went to a main dealer for nox sensors replacement.
Nothing to do with brakes .
They told me they have been replaced . Yet no evidence only a sheet telling me my brakes need doing .
Question is without receipt is there away of checking they have been done .

Is this an OM651 diesel and you went in for the software update where they also change the nox sensors?
It went in for replacement of nox sensors .
Last service and recall I had I was told they needed replacing but wasn’t in stock at the time .
So I’m guessing the last update detected faulty sensors .

You can ask for a receipt for the work done.

I did this when I had some warranty work carried out.
