Hit & Run - Broken Front Bumper & Damaged Headlight

Hi all,

Owner of a 4 year old A180. Was driving home late at night from an on call shift and was hit by a driver at a junction on my left. He drove off and unfortunately I was not able to catch his details. Got home to find the damage done to the front bumper which is broken as well as damage done to the left headlight as in the picture below.

I am truly gutted and considered getting this repaired via my insurance company but they said due to it being a hit and run I would lose my NCB, my premium would increase and I would probably have to pay quite a substantial surcharge.

I have decided to scrap this option and would appreciate recommendations with regards to reliable/ not too expensive car bodywork repair workshops around or near Newcastle upon Tyne please!

However that’s only good if the offending vehicle is not cloned! Far too many cars being cloned and causing misery to all.

Sorry to hear about this - there are some scum around! Probably drunk and uninsured. Anything involving headlights is not likely to be cheap so hope it doesn’t cost you too much. Too far south, unfortunately, to recommend anyone up your way.
