Luckily I had to go to Edinburgh on the way home tonight or else I would caught up with the fallen trees at Auchinkilns incident, so probably got home earlier than I should have, or I would have had it not been for another hold up.

I got stuck behind one of these people that thinks he is a racing driver, he was driving so far out from the side it was impossible to get by and he was a heavy braker. We got to Thornhill and I slowed for the 30 unlike the other driver who vanished.

On the other side of the village I could see him about half a mile ahead, then he vanished of the radar. I got to the straight where I last saw him and I caught slight climpse of a red light in the glare of an oncoming vehicle on full beam so slowed and found the road blocked.

I wasn't getting out of the car, but the two lads got out and lit up some cigarettes before getting on the phone.

I was lucky to see this car so I sat with the hazards on until the police arrived.

The police arrived and said I could probably get round. I met a tractor heading towards the scene as well.

He was probably driving to fast for the conditions.

Just your normal drive home from work then. You need to get a more powerful flashgun so we can see the gory details more clearly. Hope you got home without further incident.

Other than the Range Rover with no rear lights and the van that had a ladder that had slipped over to about 45 degrees, it was no problem.
