replacing thermostat seal. sheered bolt. :( story of my ****** life at the mo. i tried everything. i tried manfully to seal it up with gasket sealer but it's still p***ing. you lot must think i'm desperate dan.

between the wheel studs and now this, i think it's time i called a fitter.

Sounds like you need to invest in some good tct drills and an easy-out set.

Too many seized bolts on this car!!!

Reminds of some years ago,when I was building My dream house, How it turned out is something else, but my younger brother came around to change his inlet manifold gaskit, after he broke off 3 studs I decieded to let him build the house and I fitted his manifold gaskit, One either has a feeling for these things,or not, if not get someone who has.

Be very careful with easy-outs as they are brittle and if one breaks in a hole you are really screwed as you cannot drill them out, use the largest size possible. Speaking from experience !!
