Does anyone have information on making an LED fault code reader, in particular, which pins do I connect it to in the 38 pin diagnostic socket on my 1997 E300TD. I have found several references to such a tool but no actual details of how it is made or used. HELP PLEASE!

Go to Benzworld section 129 search for fault code reader. the components are 1 x LED 1 x res 1 x switch
It takes 10 mins to make you will find the list of codes there as well .
