just been watching 5 hoodies changing a spare wheel outside my house - flat well lit, very quiet road and they need to do kerb side front tyre

so rather than park under a very bright LED street light, they drive to a slight hill and park in the dark and then left the tool bag with the jack and wheel brace behind, plus litter - is there any hope in this strange world ???

They probably parked down the road so they could smoke a few joints, neck some beer and not leave litter outside your frint door. In their eyes they were being considerate.

To answer your question. My mantra is we are not responsible for others - as hard as it seems.

Maybe it wasn’t their car and they were stealing the catalytic converter :)

what I meant to write - rather than do it in a quiet dead end road away from houses and under a massive LED street light - they came into a residential area half parked on someones drive, where it was tottaly dark and 10 minutes was them trying to hold 3 phones with the flash on so they could see what they were doing and left the litter for me to pick up

at one point I think I saw 3 of them trying to hold the car still as the other undid the wheel nuts

Years back I gave some young lads a lift to change a wheel on their car .... driver had passed his test that day .... they were clueless as to what to do. I went back with a proper trolly jack to use instead of the car supplied half scissor type they were trying to use. They'd never seen anyone slackening a wheel bolt/nut using their foot before :D

I recovered the tool bag they left on the road - incase they had left the stuff to get up to mischief later- but now I suspect it was dumped - not one tool was used to do the job, its just really rusty nasty junk in a manu bag
