I have an R-registered C180 elegance but the horn is not working. I cannot find the fuse in the fuse box. In fact, on the legend in the fuse box, it does not mention the existence of a fuse for the horn, klaxon or whatever. It may not be a blown fuse that is cusing the problem but it seems a reasonable place to start. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you,
Archie

Have a look at the following link.
Select your car, then electrical equipment, then horn.
The easy way to check: disconnect the 2 wires on the horn, connect a voltmeter ans ask somebody to keep their fingers on the horn button. If it reads 12v, the horn is gone; if no 12v look for the fuse or relay.

Marnix kindly showed you how to test it, horns are not MB's strong point, could be where they are placed. I never used mine and during the MOT test I had to fix one,as they were both dead.
