The horn is working on my 2012 w212 MB, but it's not very loud. Is there double or single horns on this model?? Sound's very weak....

Agreed.
Normally high and low tone, and tend fitted somewhere behind the front bumper hence their failure rate.
I wouldn't bother with MB replacements unless you're a purist as they're twice the price of aftermarket ones.

Sometimes the horn is very loud , but the cars sound deadening makes it sound poor . Have you tried with the doors open ?

A very good point Wighty !!!:D:D:D And 100% correct.....I tried it with the doors open ( neighbours looking to see what's wrong... ) and with the doors shut !!! Comparison !! Sound's great now.....:):):). On the back country road's I travel a lot on....common sight to see cows ( lots of them ) on the road going to / coming from milking.....and a good " Audible Device" is essential :eek::eek:

But as an added precaution, I'm going to get underneath to where the horn's are located.....and wrap them firmly in plastic bags.....The noise will find it's own way out........:rolleyes::rolleyes:
