Horrendous car covers gallery

I've been snapping really awful examples of car covers over the past couple of years (I don't get out much...) and have started to use them in our adverts, along the lines of Specsavers...

It astonishes me that an owner who considers their car is worth protecting and that a cover is a good idea, then places such abominations as these on them, in the vague hope they may do some good. In many cases, they do the opposite...

Here are a few from quite recently...the MGF snapped on Saturday has brand new alloys yet a piece of fabric to protect it...

Number three made me laugh. Looks like a bobble hat on a big head. Presumably there is something on the roof that needs protecting.

The sad fact is, that covers like these hold in moisture and accelerate rust.

I reckon they may have packed a roof rack to go away the next day, though it was in Scarborough so I'm rather confused....
