Coke works well as does wheel acid.

There are companies that remove them for a fee.

my v class ones had an o ring around the upper section so whatever potion you use its necessary to get it down past that seal.

get the motor HOT and wiggle and jiggle. lots of patience and squirt.

If you use a caustic solution on aluminum alloy it gets eaten away for a long time after the application, the cylinder head will rot away from the outside.
You must neutralise the surface after you've done with a weak acid, dilute vinegar will do, but phosphoric acid would be better.

Yes that is right,strong acid when applied on the aluminum alloy will be eaten by the acid.
