how can i get part numbers for my diesel injector?

hi. unless i haven't done an adequate search on the forum, is there a way to find out part numbers without removing the part? to put it simply, i am looking to replace my diesel injectors. i know my engine number and chassis number, and i dont have the tool to remove an injector until my friend gets back from his holiday, i just need to know what injectors go into my R reg E class 300TD. i have tried to find this info out on the internet to no avail, so i guess it was time i turned to you guys. i need the part number to match up with some injectors i have seen for sale. many thanks.

Your local Mb dealer will give you the correct part numbers from the chassis no..

Thanks. Dont know why I didnt think of that. Just got off the phone from them with the part number, now all I have to do is look for 6 injectors! Cheers.

Give German and Swedish a call with the merc prt number and reg of the car and they should be able to offer you a better deal ( 0208 917 3800 ).

thanks crammy69, will do so. you have just reminded me of a funny thing years ago when i went to my bank to query a payment and the cashier told me i had spent my money somewhere called german & swedish. im sure she still doesnt believe its a car place!!! cheers.
