How do i get a new key?

First of all, apologies if this should be in the technical bit :Oops: I inherited a lovely Mercedes 190 D from my dad and the key for the doors is slightly damaged, the thin coppery bit inside is so thin, it occasionally bends at the end.

Now i could take it to any key cutter, but i am concerned they damage it more! So how do i get a proper key done?

Hi and welcome.

Go to any MB dealer with the logbook and some ID, they will order you one and it will take a few days.

190's are very nice, you will like it
