How do i remove this from the seat of a 2008 SLK 200 please?

Could someone tell me how to remove the leather seat belt loop attached to the upper edge of the driver and passenger seats so I can send it away to get a colour match dye please? I see one end is just a popper to release but does the other end come away as well as it seems to be fitted differently and i don't want to damage the seat forcing it off.
