Oh yeah stupid me forgot to say what car it is , 2012 e350 cdi . I have managed already to get it on this screen so is that it ?Press the info button top left of the steering wheel then scroll through the menus. It will show an estimate of mile remaining although that very much depends upon throttle and brake usage. Once it thinks it needs filling up it switches to a picture of the car with a fuel pump.
It helps if you be a bit more descriptive on which E-Class you have as they been making them for nearly 30 years and the dash info and how you access it has changed quite a bit in the intervening years…
Yes, you need some motion lotion…Oh yeah stupid me forgot to say what car it is , 2012 e350 cdi . I have managed already to get it on this screen so is that it ?

Once it can't work out how far you can go is a good time to walk to buy fuel.
Of course it can rise. eg you set off in the morning when it's cold with 10 galls in the tank, your car is still on 'choke' & doing 25mpg .... 250 miles left in the tank. The engine gets warm, comes off 'choke' & is now doing 35 mpg because you're doing a steady sensible speed on the motorway .... there is now 350 miles left in the tank (apart from the miles it took to get warm)I have seen the remaining range display go up as well as down while driving, ...
.....
yes but why.......Didn't we invent fuel gauges at some point?
