Hi, I'm hoping some of you members can perhaps help me.
I have a 2002 Sprinter 308cdi and I'd like to upgrade the engine output.
I understand that I can get "chipping" products which will give me better output but I'm wondering what the factory differences are between a 308 and a 311 or 313.
As I understand it they share the same engine but the bhp varies drastically from 80bhp to 130bhp.
What I'm really asking is... can I source parts from a higher output van and fit them to mine? I think they have a different turbo but are there any other changes. For example is it turbo, ECU, injection system and lots of programming etc I would need to change, or is it more simple than that?
Alternatively I would welcome any feedback from others who have "chipped" their 308.
