how do u removeT210 cubby hole?

Under the radio/cd player of my 98'T210 avantgarde is a sort of cubby hole with a lid.The lid wont close so I want to remove the lid and box assembly from the console so that I can see the problem and fix it.
Does anyone out there know how it comes out ?

Had a similar problem , bits of this may help & I'm sure there's a thread for removal of console on your model Should be easy for you!!

T210 cubby hole

I think you are refering to the cubby hole between arm rest and gear selecter .
The one I'm refering to is the same appature as a standard radio/cd player horizontal and directly below the radio .
