I have a 500SEC 1990 that requires a new Heater Matrix. I have been advised that it is a 12 hour job. Does this sound correct?

It sounds about right to me, as Malcolm says its a dash out job, The are lots of bits to remove to get at it and then they all have to go back properly.

Thanks Guys.

No Malcolm I have desire to do it myself but the thought of paying £850 + VAT sent me on my heels a bit especially as I have no idea what's involved.

Thanks too "wireman" it helps to not feel that one is being taken for a ride.

Appreciate the time you both took to give advice.

Regards
