Hi,

Does anyone know how many miles I should be able to drive on a full tank (assuming average driving conditions) in my new M Class 320 CDI Sport?

Thanks

:DHello

I think I would work on 28mpg overall so just times that buy the tank size.

I'm guessing 70 or 90 litres?

So if 70L (15.4 gallons) = 431 miles @ 28mpg

So if 90L (19.8 gallons) = 554 miles @ 28mpg

Mine....well its best I don't work it out :D

Can an ML average 28MPG ??
Also assume you will refill when the light comes on with about 1.5-2 gallons left, so lose 7-8 litres off the calculation, so with the smaller tank, using 62 litres at, say 26 MPG would get you 355 miles per tank.

The trip computer should give you an indication based on how your driving. Scroll to the fuel economy page, then go up or down and "Range" should be listed.
The same engine in my E Class with 80ltr tank shows a 700 mile range after each fill up :)

700 miles........

I can simply dream about that...

Given my dads E320 Cdi Estate can do 50 mpg and regularly does over 40, guessing at 28 mpg for the ML320cdi didn't seem to far out?

Computers are good, but working it out tank for tank gets my vote. I've driven on 0 miles before now...good job they are not accurate :) :)
