Wanted to buy one that I could play on the air intake in the cabin of my CL 500
And also to disinfect shopping etc.
Seen one says 18w and others that are LED ... but will a Led UV lamp kill bacteria and Corvid as well as a 240v version?

Hi Wighty doing fine thanks, trust you are well.

car has been a good boy, but not used apart from a few shopping trips and a regular up and down of the abc. Dont want that seizing up lol

Otherwise ****ed off as my Barn project is not feasible, due to the utterly incompetent handling of Corvid by these morons.

You need UV-C lamps to do it properly.
You're looking at £700 for medical grade ones.

Sorry I can't answer that one.
If you were to ask the Trump you might well get guidance,
but as any light needs to be far brighter than he he may reasonably suggest that 1 watt is a bright light.

I've just taken to donning disposable gloves when handling alien goodies.
I wipe down newly introduced stuff with anti bac' wipes. Where I can I leave stuff sat for a few days.

Even a bright o/h light will miss shaded stuff unless it goes on a rotisserie.

Washing hands seems to be the best solution.

Be nice for it to go to a good home
If Corvid gets sorted, then I am onto a barn conversion - so may well be for sale .. being a bit ocd I would hate to take her near cement dust etc, doubt if she will do 2K miles this year!
if you are serious

We use this type of lighting in bakery machinery. I have seen It in roll production plants. It has its own cleaning cycle which runs the lamps for 30 minutes after production has ceased.

I recall using a pond filtering system with UV 30 odd years ago.
NB. Such pond UVs do need to be enclosed (in fact they are designed not to light unless a safety lug is engaged) - eye damage is guaranteed otherwise.

Eye, skin and everything else! UVC is not the way to go for general use!

I may or may not know a company studying this sort of thing right at the moment.

Long and short of it is that UV-C application for forced- pressure breathing air is unsupportable at current technology cost levels.

I watched a report on these UV-C robots that some airports are employing , fascinating stuff , they let it loose in a conference room for 20 mins and the place stunk of burning flesh
