I have been asked to sell the following and need some help on a guide prices to advertise at. Details are :

Mercedes 560 Sec Auto 5.6l V8, Grey,1989, Petrol, Carat Duchalet 2 Door pillarless coupe model with while leather trim. Fully electric. 145k miles. Tax + Mot till June . Mint engine

Depends on history, condition of bodywork and interior. I assume that you're selling privately, if so, anywhere from £1,000 to £5,000.

If it is excellent condition, then try selling through a specialist dealer and offer him a comission on the sale.

I'd put "Sensible Offers" and see what you get.
Massive recession, expensive fuel prices and a 5.6l V8 don't mix well so it's a pretty small market of enthusiasts, collectors and drug dealers you're targetting.

Sorry...... but as previously said, there is a recession and I wouldn't think that right now is the best time to sell, maybe wait until the sun comes out and take it to a few car shows where it should attract attention????

The Carat cars can be viewed as nasty because most people want original cars of this type. Having said that, anything will sell to the right market for the right price. This car would look at home in certain parts of London for sure.
