How much to change brakes on an ML ??

How much would I expect to pay to have all 4 discs pads & sensors changed on a 2002 ML-270 CDI.

I have been quoted £724.87 using genuine parts.

I was also told that none of my indys suppliers have the aftermarket parts listed that match my vehicle exactly - this sounds like BS to me, but wanted to check with you more educated types......

Absolute joke at that price why all 4 disc are the rears below the limit ? With Block exemption all parts are freely available from many OE suppliers to MB
½ the figure quoted would be near the mark from an indie.

I figured as much.

Apparently the fronts are under the limit by 1.5mm & the rears are on the limit. I have asked for the old ones - unfortunately they have now started the work . I normally do this sort of work myself but we are in the middle of moving house & I don't have the time / space to do the job.

Thats a shame as i put up a complete DIY for the ML brakes.

I paid £252 for the rears and £192 for the fronts on my ML about 2 years ago. This was with a main dealer. They dont last long on the W163 ML!!!!!
