Just looking at some R230 alloys sold on AWD and I spotted this set.

With tyres, you are looking at almost £26k for a set of 4

How much would you be prepared to pay for a set of bare alloys for your car.
I'd say about £1500 max + tyres would be my limit.

Those are still the best design MB have every made IMO.
Like hens teeth to pick up a good set for under £1500 even now.

i think his business model is to buy them from someplace else (he's in germany so plenty of amg wheels there), refurb them to a very high quality, and sell them on ebay). I don't regret buying them for one sec.
