Hi there,

Anyone know how to change the light bulb in the fan knob of a 1998 C220 Diesel?

You put a cloth over the flat on the knob, and pull it off with a pair of pliers. you need a large straw or tube with something sticky on the end to pull the bulb out

I looked at doing it that way, Malcolm, after I'd done it the first way, and there was no way to get at the lamps from the front. They were covered with a plastic prism.

The plastic prism has a flap which gives you access to the bulbs, then it is as Malcolm Said, its fiddly but can be done in situation.
