Hi
Could anyone tell me if you can adjust the parking brake on a 2001 c220 cdi saloon.
It has been getting progressively worse and feels like it only works on one side now.
Any advise would be helpful also it is an easy job to change the front discs and pads.

Thanks
N

Parking brake adjust as follows:-

Remove each rear wheel in turn and using a small flat blade screw driver, go through a wheel bolt hole and click by click wind up the adjuster wheel (have a look with a torch) until the disc locks, then back of three clicks so spins freely again.

once done on both sides remove rear seat base cushion, in centre remove cover, 2x8mm and one 13mm screws. then take up the slack in the cable by turning the 13mm adjuster nut. keep trying the pedal until it feels right.

Discs and pads very easy on the front!!
