My pebble beige seat belts are very dirty and have become rather grey looking.
Does anyone know how to clean them?
I have read that you must be careful not to use a cleaner that will weaken the integrity of the material.

Grateful for assistance.

I cleaned mine on a sunny day (you might have to wait a while) using a nail brush, squeezy and warm water. I used a bull-dog clip to hold the belt fully extended and was careful not to over-wet the webbing. Towel dried them initially and they were fully dry within a couple of hours in the shade. Mine are light grey and have come up a treat.

The neighbours probably thought me a little bit odd - but they probably do anyway after what happened a few weeks ago:
My youngest lad had an rugby accident at school (actually he broke his thumb) and I had to take him to casualty. We arrived at eight in the evening. Fantastic, I got one of the few parking bays right outside the door and, as usual, we waited and waited to be seen.
Quarter to one in the morning we eventually left the hospital and, upon returning to the car, found someone had thrown-up all over the roof and all down one side. Had to climb in through the passenger door.
I worried about the mohair staining - who knows what's in the vomit!!!!
None of the neighbours have said anything yet ...... but I'm sure I was seen - bucket and hose pipe out, washing the car at HALF PAST ONE in the morning.

Thanks Doug
I am amazed a such a simple solution. I haven't tried yet but have heard of others trying all sorts of cleaners to no avail.
