Hi, I need to sell my late partner's car and need a photo with the roof down.

I looked in the owner's manual, it says to pull down the roof separator by the handle.

I can't see a handle, and don't know how to pull it down.

Today is the first time I have operated the car, andI don't want to damage it!

Any help will be much appreciated!

Thank you

Look into the boot. Centrally, slide your hand forward toward the back of the seat under of where you can see that plastic forward facing strip you see in your photo. You will find a hole or 'handle' at the back - pull down hard towards you and the roof separator will pull forward. You should then be able to do the roof. Make sure engine running as the roof takes a lot of battery power.

My son was able to pull down the boot separator, but the roof doesn't fully load into the boot...
My partner didn't mention that there was a problem, so I guess I'll have to get Mercedes to look at it.
Thank you

I have another question please. On the left dial are numbers 0, 1/2 and 1. Is that the fuel level?
Sorry for such a question, I have looked in the owner's manual and don't see what they are.

Hi there, yes that is your fuel level gague. If you can regards the roof and you are minded to, find a Mercedes Independent Specialist to assess the roof for you. Far cheaper than a dealer and generally will take more care and attention with your car. Check for obstructions initially. Anything fouling or pushing on the mechanism will prevent proper stowage.
