I’m afraid without retrofitting a Bluetooth system like parrot or replacing the head unit with something like an Android it’s probably not going to be possible. Do you know what you have in the car currentlyHave a b class 2006 trying to find the best way to connect my phone as there is no Bluetooth
Hi I have original stereo which has all buttons for phone but a phone holder is in arm rest so only a Mercedes phone can be usedI’m afraid without retrofitting a Bluetooth system like parrot or replacing the head unit with something like an Android it’s probably not going to be possible. Essentially it’s a Bluetooth phone adapter that fits into the cradle in your armrest,
If you have a picture of what you have in there already we could possibly confirm which adapter you would need
Thank you any chance you would swap you auto for manualYou have a few options - as mentioned above:
1. You can buy a bluetooth module, like one of these:

and plug it into the phone cradle;
2. You can try this cheap bluetooth adapter, if you can access the back of your head unit (there's no guarantee it'll work - depends on whether AUX input is enabled on your head unit):

3. You can replace the head unit, with either facelift model Audio20, which has a built-in bluetooth:

or,
4. You replace the head unit with an aftermarket Android one, which either looks like original:

or,
5. Go for a more modern look:

Personally, I felt the options 1 and 3 were way too expensive, for their seriously outdated technology (no music streaming via bluetooth), tried option 2 and it was okay, and in the end went for option 5 - fitted this three years ago and never looked back:
CarPlay works fine too:
And, I freed the little tray for some important rubbish:
Ha-ha ... no, thank you - I only drive automatic, and while my Florida and Bahamas licences don't specifically say so, my UK licence certainly does Never driven a "stick" in my life. Never wanted to eitherThank you any chance you would swap you auto for manual
