How to Fit CLK Avantgarde W209Mirror

Some basket knicked my near side wing mirror (just mirror part) and after searching around on the web/ebay I have managed to get hold of 1.

Does anyone know how easy it is to fit the mirror or have instructions for fitting it

Prise off the triangle cover inside the car from the Top. unplug the electrical connector, take out the 3 screws, and its off.

Hi there,
If its just the mirror glass you are Replacing, you will need to angle the motor in at the bottom so the top part of the round motor is forward as much as possible. Then clip the bottom of the new glass up into the small catches ( youll see on new mirror), press the top part in until it clicks, then move the top metal retainer pin over the top lip to hold it in place with a very small screwdriver or pick.
Very fiddely but if you look at the new one you should be able to work out wot i,m saying!!!!

I must be going blind, I just did not see (just the mirror part) almost as Elsy tanner

Press in mirror at the bottom,unhook wire spring along the top and glass lifts up and out

Sorry about my first post when I told you how to remove the complete mirror
