How to get into my boot

Hi,

I have a 2017 E220 convertible, The boot light came on in the vehicle, but the boot was closed? I followed instructions from here to have a look at a connection at the rear of the lock, disconnected this, closed the boot to see if the light had gone off, it had. problem is now i am unable to get back in the boot? how am i able to get back in to the boot?

Who’s Bob?...

There should be a keyhole up under the boot handle. If it’s never been used then it will probably be gummed up. Lots of lubricant and work the key back and forth.
It’s a 90’ turn and it’s long the last bit of movement that operates the lock

H, There doesn't seem to be a keyhole?

Underneath the lip of the boot lid above the number plate ,where they usually are
