How to remove this panel for holding the side skirt?

A quick thread as I am in work mode....

But as title says really. I would really like to get it off to ensure no rust under, although there doesn't appear to be.

Problem solved.... My ruthless pursuit of rust knows no bounds.

All tabs still in place so be fine.

I'm not sure but it looks like there's a release tab up and right if the 'rivet'.

I'm not sure but it looks like there's a release tab up and right if the 'rivet'.

Nope, I checked. Not sure what piece makes you think that.. perhaps it's the bit of seal tap hanging down?

I checked for tabs (slots in the black bracket) but I took out the meat cleaver to butcher.

Ahhh... OK I see.

That was a test which you duly passed :)

Let me explain the trick I played on you. The original post contains photos from the off side.. But the butchered side is from the near side.

I just remember which side I was sitting when taking the photos which were hours apart.

Very well spotted though.. Sorry for the confusion.

To be clear. The tabe you are taking about is towards the front of the car.

Cab take more snaps tomorrow.
