If it provides an outlet for them to expend their exuberance, instead of p***ing it up in the pub or knocking s**t out of an old person, then I am all for it.

Thank you Mercedes for providing that catalyst.

hmph..... disgusting.

I've never had a penchant for 'tuning' or 'modding' I think stock cars with under the skin mods rule.

If you don't like the was a car looks stock then don't buy it, I hate modded mercs especially...horrendous.

I have to agree 100% with the above, it is their money and time.

What ever you look at you will always find something that does not appeal to you

I dare say the owner thinks its the mutts nuts. And thats all that really matters. Personally I think it does look like a pair of mutts nuts. Really.
Its all only opinion.

I agree that anything which gainfully occupies the time of our youth of today is to be commended, but I fail to see the point in taking a nice car and making it look unrecognisable for what it was? Maybe I'm just too old!

I think it's called 'modding' but maybe a bit of moderation of the modding might be worth considering before making an MB look like a modded Ford Sierra!

Mutts Nuts seems an appropriate expression. Again.. only an opinion.

At least he hasnt changed the doors to the swing up type. Yet.
Its a great pity because it probably took HUNDREDS of hours to achieve that look plus an overdrawn account at Halfords.
Looking closer, you can see its actually been done very well. Its just a shame that the overall finished look is so awful. As with a lot of modding, its not what you do, its what you dont do that dictates whether its a success or not. He just didnt know when to stop.

I personally don't like that at all. But fair play to whoever spent the time and money doing the work as it must have took a fair amount of effort.

I love the original 190E Cossies though in Black :)
