How To Test The Ignition Coil?

I HAVE A MERCEDES C180 97 MODEL....
I JUST WANT TO KNOW IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO CHECK THE IGNITION COILS WITHOUT BUYING ANY FANCY EQUIPMENT OR HAVING TO PAY SOMEONE/

ALL ANSWERS APPRECIATED.

Do you possess a reasonable digital Ohm meter?

I do have a multimeter and would like to check the coils

My E200 won't start - No spark. Maybe it's the Immobilizer.

I hear the fuel pump run for a second when I turn the ignition on but don't have a spark when cranking - Would that be the immobilizer ? or maybe ignition fault.

Any tests I can do to find out if it's an immobilizer problem, an ignition problem or some other fault ?
