You do need a laptop to add to that, you could get Carsoft,,or an Launch X431 and do other cars as well

I have an old Compaq bought in 1999 with the smaller RS232 socket and 25-pin RS232 parallel port in addition to the Dell laptop but it hasn't got any RS232 port but wireless.

Where can I get the Carsoft/Launch X431?

I dont wish to appear rude but if you dont know how to access this sort of thing online for nothing are you sure your tech savvy enough to risk playing with your cars management systems?

Its very easy to kill engines with the wrong numbers, I've got mates who live map engines with laptops and having driven the cars for em while they do it and watched them, i wouldnt attempt it.

Fair enough, i'd get on the torrent sites then, can find pretty much anything for nothing if you look hard enough.
