How useful is this?

Just thought..... Isn't this a great washer for small parts, with a solvent that won't melt the plastic. .... And they sell them in Lidl, full of 'free' cornichons

Excuse my ignorance but what is it?

It's a jar of cornichons with the cornichons and vinegar removed leaving just the lifter that comes in the jar.

Ah yes gherkins i see now. like the idea of using it as a parts cleaner

No, gherkins are for fast food like McD's burgers, cornichons are for civilised stuff like smoked salmon!!
