Hi All, I am hoping that someone may know where I could get hold of a 15 inch wheel trim for my 1993 c220 Elegance, I have posted a picture to help, I have searched the internet but no luck. "I bet it’s all wrapped up and under a Christmas tree for some lucky Dad: mad:" All the best, and a Happy New Year.

Might be worth a call to John at SL Pagoda in Gloucester.

He has all sorts there. He doesn't have any listed on the site at the moment, but that doesn't mean anything!!!

Dare i say to try your local scrapman??

I know Mercs don't go to the scrapyard but i know one scrap guy who'll pay 50p for every decent wheel trim given to him. Nothing like that to encourage the local youth to steel your from your pride and joy!

Agree with jberks there too.

Even if they've not sold one of those trims for a few years, there's probably one at the back of the parts bin, still in it's wrapper - looking for a good home.

If my memory is correct the dealer wanted a silly price, around £40 I think on the last one

Probably Malcolm , but as SiB says if they have one they won't exactly be fighting the customers off, so they may be open to offers. Worth an ask, we got a nice walnut ashtray for our W123 that way. RRP £100+ - we paid £25.

Dave,, never bid until 2 mins before the end of the sale and push the buy button 20 sec before the end of the sale after entering your max bid, the auto computer will only take the price up to the highest bid and often no where near your max bid

No worries, glad to have been of help.

As TELEVISION says, it's best to watch an item on ebay, then place your bid in the closing seconds to secure a good price.

Good luck

Mike
